Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution records 27.6% drop in workload as ADR plateaus

The growth of mediation appears to have stalled as research from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (Cedr) shows a 27.6% drop in the number of cases handled in the year to April.
Figures from Cedr show the mediation provider acted on 338 commercial disputes in the year to April 2002, against 467 over the previous year.
