Simmons & Simmons has secured its largest corporate deal of the year so far advising Vivendi Environnement on its acquisition of Southern Water from First Aqua Holdings.
Vivendi chose Simmons & Simmons for the £2.05bn deal ahead of its other panel firms, including Allen & Overy and Watson Farley & Williams.
