Travers Smith Braithwaite has admitted the firm must broaden its client base in the wake of its biggest client, NTL, filing for US bankruptcy.
Travers managing partner Chris Carroll told Legal Week that, while the firm did not want to move into new practice areas, the recent problems surrounding debt-ridden cable company NTL had highlighted the need for the firm to diversify its client list.
