Spain's top firms surge in 2001 with 20%-plus growth

Madrid Spain has confirmed its reputation as one of Europe’s fastest-growing legal markets as research shows leading local practices averaged annual income growth of more than 20% in 2001.

Figures from Spanish newspaper Expansion show the top 37 firms ranked by turnover generated a total income of $730.17m – up 22.4% on the total of $596.43m in 2000.
