Freshfields launches US anti-trust practice with dual hires

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has secured the launch of a US antitrust practice after hiring two senior lawyers for its Washington DC office.

Vinson & Elkins partner and co-head of the firm’s antitrust team, Paul Yde and MJ Moltenbrey, who was in charge of civil non-merger enforcement at the US Department of Justice (DoJ) are both joining the magic circle firm as partners.
