Top 20 US firm Sidley Austin Brown & Wood has launched its first office in mainland Europe after winning a prestigious 33-lawyer international trade team.
Under the deal, Sidleys will take over Atlanta-based Powell Goldstein Frazer & Murphy’s US-qualified two-partner, two-associate Geneva office from 6 May, giving the US giant its first presence in continental Europe.
