Ernst & Young’s (E&Y’s) tied German law firm Menold & Aulinger is facing a crisis meeting this weekend after its accounting parent’s deal last week to take on the German legal and accounting arms of the scandal-hit Andersen.
Stuttgart-based Menolds was not included in the E&Y deal to take on Andersen’s German accounting practice and its corresponding law arm Andersen Luther and is now set to vote on a range
of options, including complete integration with E&Y or abandoning all links with its parent.
