CMS Cameron McKenna has bagged its largest ever corporate deal by advising National Grid on its £14.8bn merger with gas transmission giant Lattice – the biggest European M&A deal this year.
National Grid has used Camerons for several years and the firm advised on the recent £6.6bn introduction of a new listed holding company for the electricity operator in February.
