Freshfields rejigs key Asian management

Leading UK firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has shaken up the management of its two major Asian joint ventures (JVs) in Tokyo and Singapore.

In Tokyo, Charles Stevens, the lead partner of the JV, is retiring and will be replaced on the Japanese law side by bengoshi partner Naoki Kinami, while US- and Japanese-qualified partner James Lawden will oversee international law matters.
