Gouldens banking partner Adam Greaves has advised Accucard, the provider of online credit card services, on the company’s £12m equity fundraising. Under the agreement, existing and new investors agreed to subscribe for up to £12m worth of Series B Convertible Preference shares in Accucard, in order to finance the expansion of its business. Partner David Ramm of Wilmer Cutler & Pickering advised Carlyle Group, Paul Glassberg of Lewis Silkin advised Net Partners and CMS Cameron McKenna partner Andrew Sheach advised Lloyds TSB.

Ashurst Morris Crisp banking partner Mark Vickers has advised Barclays Bank Leveraged Finance and the Royal Bank of Scotland on the merger of Ambion Brick Company and Chelwood Brick Group. The two companies are majority owned by Royal Bank Private Equity and Cinven, respectively. The two banks provided the debt through a £50m-syndicated loan. Macfarlanes banking partner Nicola Richards advised Cinven, while Hammond Suddards Edge partners Robert Hamill and Roger Birchall acted for Royal Bank of Scotland Private Equity.
