Midlands giant Wragge & Co has pledged to build a broad service London practice within the year, signalling a shift in the firm’s ‘Birmingham first’ strategy.
Having previously claimed the firm’s London practice would remain restricted to the IP team gained in its 2000 acquisition of five-partner patents firm Needham & Grant, Wragges has indicated that it is now looking to build practices in property finance, employment and IT in the City.
