Slaughter and May has for the first time failed to reach the top 20 leading firms for European M&A by value – for the first quarter of the year – according to research published this month.
Mergermarket’s first quarter M&A figures for announced deals ranked Slaughters on 12 deals worth £3bn, compared with 32 deals worth £69bn at the same time last year.
