Chicago’s Katten Muchin Zavis has taken over New York firm Rosenman & Colin to create the 675-lawyer firm KMZ Rosenman.
The deal, agreed last month, secures the 435-lawyer Katten Muchin its first sizeable entry into the New York market and is further evidence of expansion by Chicago-based firms, via interstate and international mergers.
