Legal Week‘s poll of senior solicitors received an unusually fast response to this week’s Big Question questionnaire – most of the replies came back within the first few hours.

The poll queried the issue of whether or not lawyers should use lapdancing clubs as a venue for corporate hospitality. The rapid response may be due in part to the profession’s eagerness to uphold its good name – after a Clifford Chance partner was recently caught entertaining ‘clients’ (they were in fact legal journalists) and the story was splashed all over the national press.
