Clyde & Co has acted for Navan Mining on its recent equity subscription rights issue and debt restructuring. Partner Martin Byatt led the deal, which involved a £17.7m equity subscription arranged by Canaccord Capital Europe. SJ Berwin partner Phillip Goldenberg represented Canaccord. The deal also involved a £25.3m debt restructuring and a two-for-one rights issue by Deutsche Bank. Allen & Overy partner Jonathan Brownson acted for Deutsche Bank.
Gouldens has advised Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services on its £35m stake in the £160m invoice discounting facility for Palmer & Harvey McLane. Barclays Bank and Burdale Financial arranged the facility. William Oliver led the deal for Gouldens, while Clifford Chance acted for Barclays and Burdale.
