Hammond Suddards Edge is advising the US-based Curtis-Wright Corporation, which manufactures and designs motion and flow control applications, on its acquisition of the aerospace component business of Spirent for £42m. Corporate partner David Armitage is leading the deal, assisted by Peter Basilsevsky of US firm Saterlee Stephens Burke & Burke. DLA, led by Elia Montorio, alongside US firm Goulston & Storrs, advised Spirent.
Allen & Overy is advising Wienerberger Baustoffindustrie, which manufactures construction materials, on its acquisition of Hanson Brick Continental Europe for £39m. Corporate partner Helen Harrison-Hall is leading the team opposite Loyens & Loeff, led by partner Hans Loth.
