Since April 1999 when the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 were implemented, there has been little change to part 35 which deals with experts and assessors.
The 26th set of amendments, which were published on 28 January, include many changes effective from 25 March. Most importantly, as far as expert witnesses are concerned, there is some rewording of part 35 and expansion and amendment to the practice direction.
