Clifford Chance (CC) is facing the threatened departure of senior banking partner Luigi Chessa following a row over the management of the City giant’s Italian practice.
Sources in Italy indicate that Chessa has already approached Chicago-based Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw about starting up an Italian practice for the firm.
