Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has become the first US law firm to second a lawyer to the UK Takeover Panel.
Piers Johansen, a UK-qualified associate, joined the panel last month for a two-year term. His role will involve interpreting the takeover code and giving rulings and decisions on the takeover code in the context of bids.
