Linklaters has announced a major overhaul of its back-office systems to enable its 29 offices to operate on a single, global technology platform – which the firm claims will give it a market lead on its main rivals.
The move, which involves a firm-wide rollout of a suite of software applications from SAP – the first exposure to the legal industry for SAP, the world’s third-biggest software company – will allow Linklaters to conduct business as a single entity across multiple jurisdictions.
