Norton Rose is in talks with leading Singapore firm Rodyk & Davidson in a bid to build a local law joint venture as the City firm moves to re-launch its Hong Kong practice.
The moves are part of a wider scheme to build the firm’s Asian practice and make up for the loss in 2000 of former Singapore ally Lee & Lee and the firm’s 1998 Hong Kong office closure.
