English Partnerships, a government agency for economic development, last week announced the rollout of a web-based IT system – effectively an extranet – to manage legal instructions.
The agency, which issues between 50 and 100 instructions per week to the four firms on its legal panel, announced that it had seen cost savings of about 15% during the six-month pilot scheme for the technology.
