Lovells puts brakes on Austrian merger

Lovells has put the brakes on efforts by its German partners to secure a merger in Austria with leading Vienna firm Cerha Hempel & Spiegelfeld.

Partners from Lovells’ German legacy firm Boesebeck Droste had wanted to merge with an Austrian firm in a bid to extend Lovells’ German-speaking practice and aid local clients across the border .
