The Paris office of New York-based Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has confirmed its top-tier status in France after completing its third IPO in the past 12 months.
The e2.9bn (£1.7bn) IPO saw Clearys advising long-standing client Credit Agricole as lead underwriter on its own flotation. A syndicate of underwriters, also advised by Clearys, included ABN AMRO Rothschild, Credit Agricole Indosuez Lazard, Morgan Stanley and Credit Lyonnais.
