Lovells international projects partner Philip Capper has taken over as head of the firm’s practice from Nicholas Gould. Capper, who joined the firm from Masons two years ago, succeeded Gould at the end of last year. His appointment coincides with the arrival of a new partner to the firm from Ashurst Morris Crisp.

Melanie Willems, a dispute resolution specialist joined Lovells as a salaried partner on Monday (7 January). She brings the number of projects partners worldwide at the firm to 17, eight of whom are based in London.
