Germany’s Wessing this week moved to bolster its depleted Duesseldorf office after hiring the bulk of the local office of a small national firm.

The German firm has hired the name partner of Kruger Putz von Dollen, corporate and tax expert Guido Kruger, and a batch of associates in a move signals that Wessing, which has this year lost many of its top lawyers to international firms, is not about to give in.
