The wave of outsourcing by UK companies in recent years has proved a success and more than half are planning further contracts in the next 12 months. These are the key findings of this month’s Benchmarker survey on outsourcing, which was commissioned by Legal Week‘s sister title Legal Director.
The survey, conducted in association with Wragge & Co, found that the most frequent type of outsourcing is in support services, such as payroll, human resources, catering and business processing. More than half of the companies (55%) surveyed have outsourced some or all of these elements of their business.
