Allen & Overy (A&O) has lost one of the founding partners of its Madrid practice to a local rival firm.
Alfonso Lopez-Ibor, who helped to establish the City giant’s Spanish practice and has worked for A&O for the past 10 years, has left the firm to become a name-partner in a Madrid-based practice which will be called Ventura Garces e Lopez-Ibor.
