Herbert Smith signs Stibbe as formal Dutch ally

Herbert Smith has taken a step towards extending its European network with the formalisation of an alliance with Netherlands and Belgium firm Stibbe.

The Herbert Smith partnership voted at the weekend for the 350-lawyer Stibbe to join it in a formal alliance alongside German firm Gleiss Lutz Hootz Hirsch, which joined last year.
