McGrigor Donald today (12 November) confirmed that it is in merger talks with KPMG’s legal arm just days after Legal Week revealed that the accountancy giant was targeting a tie up with a top tier Scottish practice in a bid to beef up its UK practice (Legal Week, 8 November).
