Leading Australian firm Minter Ellison has pledged to beef up its Asian law practice as a precursor to securing a formal alliance with a leading City firm.
Minter Ellison executive managing partner Stephen Macliver, the driving force of the firm’s international strategy, told Legal Week that a greatly expanded Asian practice would enable the firm to build a North-South alliance with a City firm.
