Law firms have been criticised by the Minister of State for pensions Ian McCartney after independent research revealed that nearly a third of firms failed to comply with the stakeholder pension deadline last month.
The research by Sedgwick Independent Financial Consultants showed that 29% of law firms were not ready for the 8 October deadline for setting up access to a stakeholder pension scheme.
