The bid to create a Manchester ‘superset’ via the merger of 9 and 28 St John Street has been shelved due to a lack of support for the move by tenants in both chambers.
Had the merger gone through, it would have created a chambers with 89 tenants. Both sets handle a range of common law work, including crime, personal injury and some civil and commercial law.
