McDermotts seals German launch with Beitens team

Chicago-based McDermott Will & Emery has hired the breakaway trio of Munich partners from German firm Beiten Burkhardt Mittl & Wegener to launch its first German law practice.

The group, led by M&A partner Christian Von Sydow and followed by Jorg Kretschmer in corporate with Ralf Eckert in tax, had recently said they planned to set up their own practice in Munich.
