Tenon buys Mayfair firm in UK first

West End music specialists Statham Gill Davies has become the first UK law firm to be bought by an incorporated company in a landmark development in the deregulation of legal services.

The firm has been acquired by Aim-listed business services group Tenon for £7m, with the company planning to offer a multi-disciplinary service for Statham Gill’s media and entertainment clients, which include Oasis and Radiohead.
