Common law set Tanfield Chambers is to merge with neighbouring chambers Francis Taylor Buildings, headed by Dick Pears, creating a 65-tenant set.
Talks between the two sets have been underway since June. They will officially merge on 1 November under the Tanfield name. The two sets both operate from Francis Taylor Buildings in Temple, based on the second and third floors.
