Regular readers may recall The Diary’s admiration of the Damien Hirst artwork in Simmons & Simmons’ new staff canteen. And no doubt had the enfant terrible himself been at Simmons’ recent press party, he would have been impressed by the canapes on offer. Not least the crocodile nibbles.
While guests politely tried the various crocodile delicacies, the Simmons’ partners were not so accommodating. “It’s really good, tastes just like chicken,” said one waiter trying to persuade a partner to be adventurous and try some crocodile in a pastry basket.
