Human RightsFrom previous experience, picking up a book on the Human Rights Act 1998, often involves a detailed trawl mainly through the convention rights themselves and European Court of Human Rights cases. Many of the texts that have been published so far have lent towards the academic theory rather than an explanation of how these new rights will come into effect in practice.

One might be forgiven for expecting the same from this publication, given that the authors are all qualified barristers. However, the key distinction appears to be that they are all barristers in practice.
