disclosureA second edition of this excellent reference book has been well timed. Avoiding the temptation to rush into print too quickly after changes to the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), the authors have wisely waited until some practical experience could put flesh on the bare bones of the CPR.

The book begins with an interesting and readable account of the history of discovery. This is followed by a short comparative section briefly setting out the structure of the rules followed in the courts of the Channel Islands, the Commonwealth countries and the US.
