ParisThere has never been a better time to be a competition lawyer in Paris. With just weeks to go until the revised code governing domestic competition regulation comes into force, lawyers are expecting an explosion in the demand for competition advice.

Changes to the French code were drafted in May under the New Economic Regulations Act. The code is expected to be passed by the Direction Generale de la Concurrence, de la Consommation et de la Repression des Fraudes (DGCCRF), a governmental body established by the French economic ministry, by the end of the month.
