Given the welter of bad economic news that has followed the terrorist attacks on the US, it is easy to forget that economists still believe the UK will probably escape recession.
But, solicitors in the top UK firms are still attempting to look on the positive side – or at least they were when it came to responding to this week’s Big Question on business confidence. Indeed, confidence has dropped significantly since the last time we tested the profession’s pulse, but it does seem to be holding up remarkably well.
