Leading Dutch firm Nauta Dutilh has shut down its standalone maritime practice following a restructuring drive that will result in the loss of four of its Rotterdam-based partners.

Vincent De Brauw, Eric Klinkhamer and Franc De Vries have all approached Deloitte & Touche’s allied Dutch firm AKD Prinsen about a move, but positions are yet to be confirmed. A fourth partner, Willem Strenger, is leaving to work as a judge in the Rotterdam courts.
