The managing partner of Dutch firm Houthoff Buruma has quit after only nine months in the job following a disagreement over the pace of reform needed to help the firm compete internationally.
Arent Van Wassanaer, who became managing partner on 1 January, stood down last week after a consultation with the firm’s six-member management committee.
