A survey of top solicitors has revealed widespread dissatisfaction with the Government’s implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) into UK law.

Just under one third of the respondents to this week’s Legal Week Big Question poll, conducted in association with the recruiters EJ Legal, said they felt the government had done a ‘poor’ or ‘appalling’ job of smoothing the way for the introduction of the Human Rights Act.
Just 1% thought the Government had done ‘a good job’.
