Herbert Smith has bolstered its financial services group with the addition of two new partners
following the retirement of the group’s rainmaking head, Marian Pell.

Adam Levitt joins the firm as a partner from Slaughter and May this week, while former Asia managing partner David Willis – currently on sabbatical – returns to London next month and will head the group when Pell retires in March.
Willis had previously headed the financial services practice of the firm’s Hong Kong office.
