City firm Farrer & Co is taking on the private client team of Nabarro Nathanson.
Jim Edmondson, head of private client at Nabarros, will join the firm along with private client partner Caroline Kirby and senior associate Helen Bryant at the beginning of September.
The private client team at Farrers is led by Richard Powles and will grow to six partners when the new group joins.
“This is a further step in the development of the firm’s private client business and confirms our commitment to the sector,” said Powles.
Last month niche media firm Crockers Oswald Hickson merged with Farrers expanding the firm’s media team to six partners. The firm now has 53 partners.
