Cleveland-based Squire Sanders & Dempsey is to merge with four-partner Italian firm Studio Legale Bernascone.
Squires has had an association with Bernascone since the US firm took over the bulk of Los Angeles-based Graham & James in June, with which it was closely tied.
Squires’ new Italian practice, which will come into being on 1 February and have offices in Milan and Rome, intends to hire additional Italian partners and associates in order to build a credible cross-border corporate finance practice.
