Five partners and two senior associates have left Linklaters Oppenhoff & Raedler’s Frankfurt office to set up a new practice, the latest in a long line of senior departures which brings the pre-merger clear out to 27 partners.

Headed by corporate partner Manfred Schiedermair, the group has set up a seven-partner practice in association with a larger independent German firm.
The new firm will be called Schiedermair and offer mostly domestic-orientated corporate, property, employment and tax advice.
