The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has transferred the in-house property team of NatWest to external adviser Eversheds as part of a post-merger shake-up to focus the combined bank’s in-house capacity on core activities.

The Birmingham-based seven-lawyer team, which managed NatWest’s property portfolio, is moving to Eversheds’ office there, including team head Richard Saunders. The move also includes a number of support staff, who are moving to Eversheds under the same terms and conditions.
