Weil Gotshal & Manges, advised Citigroup on the sale to GTP Holding of the Diners Club franchise operations in the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland, in addition to the licences to operate Diners Club franchises in more than 30 African territories.
Corporate partner Andrew McLean and consumer finance associates Lorna Finlayson and Chris McLaughlin led the transaction from the London. Simmons & Simmons advised the purchaser.
